New York - Day 5

Today, all my dreams came true.  We got up, checked out of the hotel, and headed to the most wonderful place on earth, Dunkin Donuts.  Susan wanted to go to a store that was at Columbus Circle.  The donut store was about a block away from the circle, so we ate our donuts in Columbus Circle to wait for the store to open.

Then I wanted to go to FAO Schwarz to get G a present before we left.  I was feeling peppy so we walked.  At the store they had a section where you could make your own muppet.  It was super cool.

The initial design. They had three bodies to choose from. 

Then you could put stickers on there for the eyes and nose.  You could pick the hair you wanted and their outfit.  This was the final design for my muppet.

Then we got on the subway and headed to Grand Central Station.  This place is huge. 

 

 

 

 

We ate lunch there before getting back on the subway to head to Times Square and go back to the hotel to wait for our ride to the airport.  We had a great time!
