June 27 - Part II

The other part of our day on June 27 was G's birthday party. I could not seem to muster the energy for a big birthday party this year.  So, the party was very low key.  We did not have any of his friends from school there.  But, G did not seem to mind one bit.  We opened presents first since he had been trying to wait patiently all day.  Then there was swimming, hot dogs, hamburgers, and ice cream cake.

He hates it when people sing happy birthday to him.  Luckily he survived and managed to blow out the candles.  We had to get the candles off the cake quickly since his daddy bought trick candles that would automatically relight.

 

We had a very busy and very fabulous day!!  Happy Birthday!!
