We started out the month taking G to a birthday party at the place I hate the most, Chuck E. Cheese.   I have managed to keep him away until now.  At least he has not mentioned it since then.  I took a couple of pictures, but I think the better ones are probably on the phones, and I have not gotten them off yet.

 

My wonderful husband took me to see a couple of shows this month.  We saw Rent and Fiddler on the Roof.   Fiddler was more my style of show.

 

Mother's Day2009 - I got a fabulous present, a Nikon D40 DSLR camera.  I love it!!  We had lunch at my parent's house and I took lots of pictures of the kids with my new camera.  Nathan and I brought some steaks with us and the guys cooked them on the grill.  I think my mom just appreciated not having to cook.

 

I enjoyed practicing with my camera throughout the month.  A lot of them I deleted.  Not sure you want to see pictures of my foot.  But here are a couple where I managed to talk G into being my photo subject.

   

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

May 25th we finally managed to make it down to the farm for Memorial Day.  They had another litter of kittens.  (2 actually)  Garrett drove his tractor around and enjoyed looking at the cows.  We also got to enjoy some wonderful burgers.

 

May 27th we had Awana awards.  This year I taught the 4th grade girls.  While I did that, G was able to go to Cubbies.  He really enjoyed it, and did really well learning his bible verses.

 

That is all the fun for May.  I am sure you are waiting on my exciting news post.  But I don't have pictures yet, so no news posted.  I will have pictures at some point tomorrow.
