Our best friends, Justin and Ashley, (yes, the same last name) just adopted a baby girl. Avery was born on May 30th at 11:56am. She weighed 5 lb. 12 oz. and was 18 inches long. She is the cutest thing ever and is extremely tiny.
They first found out they were matched just 2 days after we told them we were having another baby. So, since then baby Wood has been the good luck baby. It has been a crazy and long ride over the past couple of months. The entire weekend that they were at the hospital was very stressful for everyone. We are all grateful for the fabulous outcome. Now I just have to talk Ash into starting a blog so that everyone can keep up with Avery.

Garrett was very gentle with the baby. He always whispered around her and did not really want to get anywhere near her. I had to bribe him to take a picture.
And not to leave anyone out...

Yes, you must convince Ashley to start a blog because you know how addicted I am to reading other people's blogs.

How funny that there is another Avery Kate! Kate is my Avery's middle name too :) Can't wait to find out what you're having!
