Maui day 5

Friday we decided to start hitting beaches we had not been to yet. We got a little later start than the previous days, but by 10 we were on the road and were headed to the western part of the island. Our first stop was to take pictures of the banyan tree in Lahaina. This tree is huge. I will have to add more about it was I look it up in the travel book.

After that we headed to Kannapoli beach. Ashley and I built a sandcastle and did some pictures for the scrapbook. This was probably the only time that us girls actually got in the ocean. After a few hours we decided to move on. We went to Whaler's Village to get Justin a fish taco from Hula Grill and then on to another random beach so the boys could try their hand at boogie boarding again. But the waves were not really working for them.

We packed it up and headed home to get ready for dinner at Mama's Fish House. It was right on the beach and we had a table that was by the window. So we were able to see a beautiful sunset while listening to the waves.
