Thursday morning we got up, packed a lunch, and headed to Hana. The road to Hana is narrow, curvy, and full of places to stop and explore. We took lots of beautiful pictures of the oceanside and waterfalls.
On one stop we hiked about 5 minutes across the most interesting things, such as a narrow aquaduct, to get to another hidden waterfall with a pool. We got in the pool for the purpose of pictures and swam to the otherside to the waterfall. The water was about 70 degrees. It was much colder than I like.
After that we continued on, taking more pictures and driving 15 miles per hour. We decided to end the adventure at the black sand beach. It was really more black rocks than sand. And it really hurt your feet. We headed home after that to get cleaned up. That trip back was nausiating. Justin was more confident and driving at 30 mph.
That night we headed to Lahaina for dinner. We did some shopping, walking, and we ate at a place called Cheeseburger In Paradise. It was right on the beach.
