This past weekend was great! I was really dreading the 7 hour trip to Corpus, but riding with friends made it very enjoyable. We left Dallas around 5 on Friday night and arrived in Austin around 8 for dinner with more friends. We had a great time catching up with old friends and telling stories. We then continued on and stopped on the other side of San Antonio sometime around midnight. Anyway, the drive obviously goes on, but the wedding was great. The reception was at a hotel that was right on the shore of the Gulf of Mexico. It was nice to see the water, although it was not such a fabulous blue color. We then left around 3:30 to head back to Dallas. It took all my will power not to stop in San Marcos at the outlet mall. That will have to be a special trip sometime soon.
