Mom turned 70 back on December 14th. The family met in Dallas for lunch at a restaurant. My sisters and I decided to treat mom to a girls trip to New York City. Of course, we have not gone yet, but have plans to go this summer when everyone's schedules are better.
Here is mom and her three grandkids. They all love their grandma.
After lunch, the three of us headed to my parent's house. We spent some more time over there and then left to go meet my friend's 9 month old baby. (For the first time!!!) 
He wanted to play with G's toys, but I am not quite sure that G wanted him to. It will be interesting one day when he will have to.
My mom's birthday lunch was planned due to everyone's busy schedule. I think she was doing stuff every night that week. So we thought we would try to have one less party, but dad had other plans. We had a surprise party that night at a Mexican restaurant with all of their friends from church. Mom had no idea. But I think she ended up having a good time. Even if there was just a little embarrassment at the end.
