On December 20th, we headed to Waco. We went to see our friends, Sharla and James. We wanted to give their girls their presents and we had to drop off some other stuff. We were only able to stay for just a little bit. They were having one of their family christmas get togethers that day.
But the kids had a great time opening their presents. Garrett got his own set of Handy Manny Tools. It is not uncommon for them to sleep in the bed. And best of all, they sing. I think Sharla is just trying to get me back for all the fabulous toys that I have given to Alli, such as large containers of plastic snap beads.
Here is Sharla and Madi. We have not seen Madi since we all went to a baseball game in the summer I think.
After that we headed to Ninfa's for a fabulous lunch and then it was on to Hillsboro. We had stopped there on the way to Waco to put a roast in the crockpot. So, we had a nice dinner with Nathan's dad and step-mom, opened a few presents, watched the Cowboy game, and had a great time. Poppa gave G his first gun. At least it was just a pop gun.
Hopefully over the next few days I can get the rest of the Christmas story told. Now G wants to try telling his side of things. cZ fevgs1jx garrett
Garrett typed his name all by himself.
