Finally finished...almost

Our backyard project is finally complete. We still have a little work to do, but we need to wait until the concrete cures for a while. (And our bank account.) We extended our back patio by adding concrete. Then we had a pergola added to cover the entire thing. It is very massive. The posts going into the ground are 6x6. The big posts across the top are 6x2. All the wood is cedar. It smells great!!

The only thing left is to decide what to do with the concrete. I think we are going to end up doing a thin stamp overlay. This will create the look of stone without the price tag. It will at least look a ton better than just the concrete.

Then we will eventually move on to furniture so we can at least enjoy the patio.
