Red River, Part II (Fourth of July)

July 4th in Red River is amazing!!!  Everyone lines up along main street for the parade.  The main goal for the kids was to get as much candy as possible.  Here are some pictures from the parade.

After the parade we took the big kids down to the pond for a little fishing.

Then it was back to the house to have a cook out and participate in the first Wood Family Olympic Games.
We had sack races…

There might have even been a little egg pelting after the toss was over.  We all had a great day.
We hope everyone had a fabulous fourth of July!

Our last day in Red River was spent taking Garrett to do his favorite thing from the week, tubing.  So the guys took the big kids tubing while us girls and the little ones did a little shopping around town.
Our summer trip to Red River was awesome!  If only we could spend the entire summer there.
