Jackson's Baby Shower

Sunday afternoon, amongst all the rain, was my baby shower.  My best friend, Ashley threw it for me at her house.  We had a tea party/bunco party/baby shower.  I loved it and she did a fabulous job!!

Here is the food table.

The person that made the cake is the daughter of a lady that I work with.  She makes the most fabulous cakes.  Not only are they gorgeous, they test phenomenal!!

It was raining a ton and we still had a great crowd.  I was lucky to be able to spend some time with some people that I don't see very often.

These are some people that I went to high school and middle school with.  Cathy and I have been best friends since 6th grade.  We don't see each other all the time, but we are still close.  It's always good when I can talk to her or see her.  And she is pregnant with twins!!  Lacy and I met in high school band and have recently gotten back in touch via facebook.  We have been known to vacation in the same place for Christmas the past few years and not even known it.  Karen and I met in middle school band.  The last time I saw her was at Cathy's wedding at least 8 years ago.  (I think!)

I got to see one of my college roommates, Kim, who is getting married this next weekend.  I also got to see my friend Sharla and her two kids.  We were in the accounting program at Baylor together.  Our neighbors were there, along with a few people from my office, my mom, my oldest sister, and Nathan's aunt.

And of course, the most wonderful friend that threw me the shower and her beautiful baby girl.  Ashley and Avery, thanks for everything!!
