Boats

On September 21 we went to my parent's house for lunch.  We got to catch up with an old friend, and papa gave G a new toy, motorized inflatable boats.   We went to our friends house that night, and G insisted that we blow up the boats and try them out.  The boats have a weight limit, so of course, Ashley and I had to do the boats with him.  The water temperature was probably in the lower 80's that day.  Ashley and I enjoy swimming when it is more like a water temperature of 98 degrees.  Of course, I never touched the water, so I did not have to worry about the water temp too much. 

However, if you look close through at this picture.  You will notice that the boat is upside down and Ashley is hanging on the side of the pool.  What you can't tell is that she is screaming her head off and I am laughing my rear off!!  It was great!  She was sitting on her feet from an earlier ride with G, and she was trying to adjust.  She somehow leaned to far and managed to tump the boat over backwards.  I don't think she was actually planning on getting in the pool.

At least she got back in the boat.  Hopefully, it will provide us with lots of entertainment next summer.
