Halloween whirlwind

I am still in the middle of a very busy tax season. I know it seems kind of crazy in November. But I am nearing the end.

October 26th we went to G's halloween carnival at his daycare. They had different activities set up in various rooms. There was pumpkin decorating, cookie decorating, face painting, a cake walk, a duck pond, and various other activities.

G had a great time until it was time to go. Then he threw a fit because he did not want to leave. '

Then on the 27th we took G to Boo at the Zoo at the Fort Worth Zoo. We were able to see some animals while it was still light outside.

We walked around the zoo and visited the various treat stations. G even got the hang of handing the people his tickets so he could get candy. This year they had carnival type games set up. So G got to play some games and get some little prizes. Every time he got to get a prize he got a rubber bracelet. He was obsessed.

On the 28th we went to Hillsboro. Nathan's dads church was having their Halloween festival. Garrett's cousin, Makayla, was also there. We went on a hay ride out to the festival location. It was a single lane dirt road, mostly filled with sand. So we had to go fast so we would not get stuck. They had a pumpkin carving contest and a pinata.
