Middle of the afternoon blah

It is the middle of the afternoon and I don't have the drive to do anything. I even ordered Garrett's halloween costume. It's a surprise! I have also started contemplating the Christmas card for this year. I think I am going to use a family picture. I just need to take one.

I forgot to write about Garrett's adventures with a spoon. He is obsessed with doing everything himseld lately. So Monday night he decided that he wanted to feed himself applesauce with his spoon. He has not grasped this concept. He would dip the spoon in the applesauce like a chip and then stick the spoon in his mouth. However, in the process of getting the spoon to his mouth he would turn the spoon over. So if he did get anything on the spoon it would all fall off and onto the tray. He then decided to give this up and just stick his hand in the sauce and eat it that way. However, there was no getting back the spoon. By the end of the cup we had a big mess!

Only an hour and a half until I leave to get Garrett. I have tons of things to do, but no motivation right now. Maybe I need a cookie!
