Hope vanished

The title sounds so dramatic. My hope of not taking Garrett to the doctor this week vanished today. He has been coughing, had a runny nose. has slept horribly for 2 nights, and last night he screamed the majority of the time. I know what all these signs mean. ANOTHER EAR INFECTION!!!!!! The trip to the doctor today confirmed it. This is our fourth one. He will start an antiobiotic tonight and take it for 10 days. Then he has another antibiotic to start after that. Although, I can't remember how long he is supposed to be on that one. We did not see our normal doctor today, so we go back in 2-3 weeks to see our usual doctor. Hopefully at that time we will get referred to an ENT.

Ear infections are horrible!!
