We have returned from vacation and are slowly recovering. We spent the last two days of our vacation home trying to put away all the Christmas decorations, doing laundry, unpacking and putting everything away, and exchanging all of Garrett's 3-6 month clothes that he can no longer wear for all his new 6-9 month clothes. I just hope that when we have another child that it is a boy. All the clothes would be taken care of.
We took Garrett to the doctor yesterday for his 6 month checkup. He weighed in at 18 pounds and 2 ounces which is in the 55th percentile. And he was a little over 28 inches long which is in the 95th percentile. I am amazed since Nathan and I are both average heights. He had three shots and they seemed to go much better than his shots at 4 months.
Today we are all back to the normal schedule. Everyone is back at work and back at daycare. It seems to have been hectic for 2 weeks with Nathan being out of school, Garrett being sick for a week, and then all of us on vacation. Mom was not quite ready for her little man to go back to daycare today. I am used to being with him all day. Very stressful, but right now he is a lot of fun.
I got a new camera for Christmas. I had a lot of fun playing with it and I have a ton of pictures to put online. I just have to get the software loaded on the computer so I can get the pictures off of the camera.
I hope everyone had a great holiday! We wish you a joyous 2006!
