Pepper

April 2nd I drove to Waco with my sister, Addy, and Jackson to pick up a dog from the shelter.  I found a dog online that looked like the dog that I grew up with.  We decided to name him Pepper, after the drink from Waco. :) He is a red Poodle/Bichon Frise mix.  He was really great on the way home.  We even went to eat at Health Camp and stopped on campus to see the bears.

I took the dog to training and even had the trainers out to the house.  Unfortunately, he did not work out.  He was great with me.  However, the boys could not walk through the living room without the dog attacking them.  So, the best decision for our family was to take him back to the shelter.  I had to take him back by myself and it was extremely hard.  But it was the right thing to do.
