Garrett has graduated from Pre-K. He worked so hard! He was even given an award for best reader. I took him shopping and he helped me pick out an outfit for graduation. I thought he looked so handsome.
The ceremony was at a church. There were three different classes. All the kids marched in at the beginning. Then each class did a presentation where they sang 2 songs and did some bible verses. I do have most of it on video which is a good thing, because some of it was pure entertainment. My favorite was the first song they did called “I just want to be a sheep”.
Then they had a video with pictures of the kids from birth till now. The current director of the school along with a few other teachers have been there since these kids were born. Garrett has been there since he was 6 weeks old, so it was pretty emotional for them. And us too! They really take great care of my kids!! After the video, the kids got their “diploma” which was only a rolled up piece of paper. We got their actual diploma after the ceremony so they did not destroy it.
Then the three classes all stood together and moved their tassels from one side of the hat to the other.
We were so lucky that our friends Justin, Ashley, and Avery came for the celebration as well.
