Pumpkins and Halloween

 

Way back on October 20th we went and picked out our pumpkins.    Every year we go to a church to get our pumpkins.  This year was really busy, so we managed to arrive only 3 minutes before they were going to close.  We walked around like crazy people looking for pumpkins and trying to take pictures at the same time. 

 

G had lots of chances to dress up.  This year the costume of choice was Buzz Lightyear.   On the 24th he had a festival at his school.  He had a great time walking around playing games, doing crafts, and eating. 

 

 

 

 

The next activity was Boo at the Zoo on the 25th.  My batteries chose to die at this time, but I managed to get a few pictures out of them. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

We managed to get there early enough to see some animals.  We even saw the new baby lion cubs.  And we got to walk around to the treat stations so G could get candy.

 

G even got to go on his first carousel ride.  He loved it!!

Then on Halloween night G got to go Trick-or-Treating.  Mom and Dad took turns taking him and and staying home to hand out candy.  He really got the hang of it this year.
