Circus

On August 16th we took G to the circus.  We had to wake him up from a nap in order to go.

He was really excited about going on the way there.  And then when we got there he threw himself on the floor screaming that he did not want to go.  I had to carry him up the stairs into the arena.  He sat on my lap for while before moving to daddy's lap and almost falling asleep. 

By the time the horses and zebras came out he was getting interested.  When the tigers came out he was finally alert. 

 

We also saw dogs playing leapfrog, climbing ladders, and going down slides. 

 

The show we saw was called Bellobration.  It was centered around a clown named Bello.  He spent the entire time trying to impress his love interest.  And yes, by the end she does give him a kiss on the cheek. 

 

We also got to see a highwire act, the trapeze artists, and people being shot out of the canon.  But besides the tigers, Garrett's favorite part of the circus was....                     the elephants.

 

 

We had a great time and G was ready to go back before we ever left the building.
