G's 3rd birthday party

We had to have the party last Saturday on the 14th due to some family traveling conflicts.  The party was at the Little Gym.

We invited G's  friends from school and some others as well.  It was great to have the place all to ourselves and not have to clean up afterwards.  This is clearly the way to go!  I was much less stressed out than previous years.  And I even had the cake made at the store.  We had a Thomas the Tank Engine cupcake cake.  Another fabulous short cut.

The kids got to play for a while.  They did some free play and lots of "organized" (as organized as you can get 2 and 3 year olds) play.

After the play time we broke for cake and juice.  I brought fruit, cheese, crackers, and pretzels as snacks for the adults.  But they turned out to be even better for the kids.

After a little more play time, we took the presents home with our family members and opened the gifts there.  We took pictures of G with each gift to include with the thank you cards.  I managed to get pics of each guest in the play area that I am also including with the cards.  Maybe next time I will put a little more concentration into that area.  We had hamburgers with our family and the all important ice cream cake!!
