8 months old

Garrett is 8 months old today. Nathan and I were just talking last night about how we can't even remember when he was really little. (Not that he ever was really little.) But he is just growing up so fast. He can crawl on his hands and knees. (Not that he will do that. He still thinks he is in the army.) He can pull himself to standing on basically anything. He is almost to the point where he can get to a sitting position from laying down. He has 5 teeth. He can walk with help. We are working on eating chunkier foods and eating table foods. He has not grasped the finger pinch yet. And he has not figured out that he is supposed to put the food in his mouth rather than play with it. He is just getting so big.

He did do something funny at daycare the other day. They told us that he crawled over to his crib and pulled himself up. Then he started crying. So they put him in the crib and he fell right to sleep. I just wish that would work at home.

On another note... I am having a Southern Living party tomorrow. A lady that I work with is trying to get her business off the ground so I am helping her. Not sure how much I am helping her. But hopefully we will have enough sales so I can get the entertaining bucket, tray and stand that I have been wanting for over a year. Let me know if you desire anything.
